Brad Lambert Joins Providence as Manager of Strategic Initiatives

Providence is pleased to announce the hiring of Brad Lambert as Manager of Strategic Initiatives. With more than 32 years of experience in energy, communications, and economic development, Lambert brings an unparalleled track record of success in managing complex issues and driving innovative strategies in both the public and private sectors. His new role was effective on January 6, 2025.

Lambert’s career highlights include 25 years at Harris, DeVille & Associates, Inc., where he advised prominent private industrial clients along the Gulf Coast, including ExxonMobil, Dow Chemical, BASF, and CF Industries. His professional experience also includes managing high-impact legislative outreach and advocacy campaigns, creating crisis communications strategies, and facilitating media training for large organizations across the United States.

Transitioning to the public sector in 2017, Lambert served as Deputy Secretary of the Louisiana Economic Development (LED), where he played a pivotal role in enhancing Louisiana’s economic environment. His leadership contributed to record-breaking economic development milestones, including $25 billion in capital investment and the creation of thousands of jobs in 2023 alone.

Lambert’s commitment to public service extends beyond the office. He served on the Louisiana Climate Initiatives Task Force and contributed to the Gulf of Mexico Intergovernmental Renewable Energy Task Force. As a thought leader in energy policy, he has advocated for Louisiana’s all-of-the-above energy approach, emphasizing the state’s potential to lead in carbon capture, renewable energy, and emissions reduction.

Lambert holds a Master of Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Louisiana State University. A Baton Rouge native, he has served on numerous nonprofit boards, including the Greater Baton Rouge Food Bank and the Manship Theatre, demonstrating a lifelong dedication to community engagement.
